SSC CGL 2024 Application Fee
As per the SSC CGL 2024 Notification, the required application fee for SSC CGL 2024 is Rs 100. However, female candidates, as well as those belonging to SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-servicemen categories, are exempt from paying any fees for the SSC CGL Exam 2024.
Here are some important points regarding the application fee:
- No fee is required to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
- The application fee should be paid only through SBI, either in the form of a challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. The challan form will be generated online.
- To pay the fee in cash, the candidate should print the challan generated online after completing Part-1 registration. The fee should then be deposited in any branch of SBI before continuing with Part-2 registration.
- Candidates who wish to pay online can proceed directly to Part-2 registration after completing Part-1 registration. They must provide their registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration.

SSC CGL 2024 Selection Process (Revised)
The SSC CGL 2024 Exam will be conducted in two tiers. The SSC CGL Tier 1 Examination will be conducted online and will be computer-based. This tier is considered qualifying in nature, and the marks obtained in this exam will not be included in the final results. However, only candidates who qualify for the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be eligible to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam.
The SSC CGL Tier 2 will have three papers, including Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III.
It is essential to note that Paper I is mandatory for all posts.
Candidates appearing for Paper II will be considered for the position of Junior Statistical Officer in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.
Paper III is designated for candidates applying for the positions of Assistant Audit Officer or Assistant Account Officer.
An important point to highlight is that candidates qualifying in the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will progress to Tier 2.
